Three quick steps to help you find a trusty tradesman
We understand taking on a new kitchen is a big decision. Who do you trust? How do you know they're going to get it right? Can you trust their fitters? There are so many questions that can really put a halt to your kitchen renovations, which is completely understandable when you are spending a great deal of money on a new product. Thats why it is so important to get it right, but even more important than that is to get the right people for the job.

So, what will this blog post be about? Well, to put it simply its going to be about picking a kitchen trader you can TRUST. We will now prepare some recommended steps for you to accomplish this.

1. Research & Reviews

I don't know about you but when finding a supplier right for us, the first thing we do is conduct research on them. What are they like with other people they have dealt with? Do they have 5* reviews? Are they trustworthy? We have found the best site to find out this information is on Checkatrade. Checkatrade is a directory of recommended and trusted tradesmen who have been vetted and monitored and meet specific standards of trading. All reviews posted on Checkatrade are checked for authenticity to ensure they're 100% true and not written by family and friends of the firm.

2. Check their Social's Out

There is nothing wrong with checking companies social profiles out, it can actually give you insight into the humans behind the brand. How do they respond to customers comments? How do customers engage in their content? It's always great to see customers commenting lovely things on projects that are posted, it can give you insight into their experience with the firm. Social media is also great to check out the latest projects from the company so it is definitely worth checking out a companies portfolio for previous work. 3. Go into the showroom!

After you have done a little research on the firm itself, pop into their showroom. This allows you to get a feel for the people who work for the company. There is nothing worse than walking into a showroom and being greeted by an overly aggressive sales person. Here at Alon Interiors we pride ourselves in welcoming our customers into a very relaxed atmosphere, you can sit down and have a coffee and talk through what you want or need. Maybe you would prefer to pop in, look at the showroom, grab a brochure and leave, and thats ok too. Walking into a showroom and getting a feel of the company is really important and it can really give you insight into weather they are right for you, or not.
